Uh-Oh.
It seems you somehow ended up on our page, even though you were trying to get to Facebook.com. We're sure this is a frustrating problem and we've seen it a lot.
But you must understand that we at Mediaplex actually had NOTHING to do with it. And like you, we'd be annoyed if we were taken to another page when you expected see to pictures of your friends or to to work on your virtual farm.
You might even have tried clearing your cache, emptying your cookies, scanning for viruses, but the problem persists. That's because the problem, believe it or not, is actually with your local internet router. If you have a Linksys WRT160N or a Linksys WRT310N, there is a firmware bug in these devices that for some reason directs you to our site when you're trying to get to Facebook.
Bill Gerrard has a page that describes this very issue.
So what can you do to solve the redirect problem?
The best choice is to reconfigure your computer and/or your router to always query publicly-available DNS servers such as those run by Google or OpenDNS. You can also update your router's firmware and hope it solves the problem.
If you can't wait, you can also try going to Facebook using one of their direct IP addresses, but they can don't always work the same way.
Here is a list of resources (none of whom are associated with Mediaplex) that address this problem and provide excellent steps for fixing it.

- Cisco's User Community discusses the problem
- Changing DNS services on Mac OS X
- Changing DNS services to use Google Public DNS

If you're still having problems, we invite you to contact Cisco's technical support for reconfiguring your router or purchase a new router.
